At the end of the 2018 race season we add an Oval track to our off road track. The track is 85 feet long by 50 feet wide with 12 foot straight and 13 foot low banked corners. We raced on Saturday Night and had a blast! Below are some photos of last season and the classes and rule package for 2021.

In 2021 we will have a summer series consisting of 5 races with one throw out. And host weekly club races throughout the summer.

2021 OVAL RULES
General Rules Race Days
● Track is closed until race director opens up practice.
● Track is closed to practice in between rounds.
● If you practice a pack you need to marshal.
● We run an open practice, for that to work all must help and take turns.
● No more than 8 cars on the track during practice
● Turn marshals should not work on or repair cars during a race.
● Any cars damaged and placed in the infield will remain there until that race is over. DO NOT ENTER TRACK TO GET IT UNTIL RACE IS DONE.
● All drivers must turn marshal the race immediately following their race.
● All cars will be made available for tech inspection before and after race if required by the race director.
● All racers must have a personal transponder.
● All RC4 transponder will work, AMB TRANSPONDER WILL NOT WORK.
● No smoking or Vaping on track or Driverstand
● No leaning over driver stand rail while driving
● No use of Alcohol or legal/illegal drugs while racing.
● Fighting or arguments will lead to removal from race and property.
● Please sign up and pay with race director before 30 min to start of race program
● Once racing starts no refunds will be giving.
● By racing you accept full responsibility for your personal being and equipment. You cannot hold Thunder Road Hobbies liable for personal injuries and or loss of equipment.
Race directors will have ultimate authority over rules enforcement. The primary basis for any rules decision must be based on what will be best for the majority of racers. If an item is not addressed in the rules listed here then you should assume it is not legal.

Four entries required for a class to run on race day. Additional classes may be added ie, kids, Traxxas, 1/8 at Race Directors choice.
CLASS RULES
Street Stock 21.5T Blinky
● Buggy based class. (B4,B5,B6,Losi type cars)
● 21.5T SENSORED Blinky ESC (NO BOOSTING ESC, NO KV MOTORS)
● No nonsensored KV motors after May 1St 2019
● 7.4 or 7.6 battery with max of 8.44 volts
● AKA Rebar stock foam
● J CONCEPTS SPRINTERS stock foam
● All 4 tires must be the same make and compound.
BODY:
● Must cover most of the wheels
● NO decking or cutting out windows
● Rear of body must run straight across rear of car. Rear fender to rear fender. No cutting rear of car out.
● Max of 1” spoiler may be added for stability to rear of body, no end caps
● Bodies must be, McCallister, Custom Works, MRKustoms street stock dirt style.
CHASSIS:
●Battery center line no offsetting battery.
● Factory and RPM parts are to be used for this class.
●Must remain stock pick up points for shocks turnbuckles. no adding holes or parts to move locations.
●No modifying parts.
●Parts must be off the shelf parts available to the public for purchase
● No adjustable rear arms
13.5T FIXED TIMING SPRINT
● Any 2wd production buggy or 2wd purpose built chassis

Roll cage/roof supports must be cut or formed to resemble a roll cage. No solid panel roof supports. Window netting and rock guards are allowed.

● Radio and RX may be changed
● Stock steering servo may be upgraded with metal gears or you my run a traxxas 2075X servo
● RPM arms, hubs and carriers may be used, Aluminum Shock caps may be used, all other parts must remain stock without any drilling or grinding.
● Tire must be stock Traxxas Kumho or BFGoodrich® Mud-Terrain™ no cutting or grooving the tires and NO DOPING, the tires only can be cleaned with Simple Green type solution.
● BATTERY can be stock 7 cell NiMH battery or any two cell LIPO with max 80C rating and 8.4 volts
● BODY must be Street Stock SC size body Like Shark RC Bodies with max rear spoiler of 1” tall
